Off to a great start!

The little explorers of the kindergarten got off to a great start after the summer break with outdoor play to learn about ‘big and small’, finger painting and phonic sound games! Their excitement to be in school was there for all to see!

Re-opening on a Green note!

The DRSIS school reopening day after the summer break coincided with the observance of the World Environment Day.

The students were welcomed by an assembly conducted entirely by the teachers.

The Vice Principal Mr. Rudolf addressed the students and Mrs. Janet spoke about the Environment Day. Teachers and students alike were encouraged to be active advocates for conserving the environment and were motivated to do their bit in saving many species from endangerment.

IBDP Prom Party 2017

Prom! A night which was memorable not just because we had great fun, but also because we got to spend time with our seniors for the last time. 19th May was so exciting from the beginning. We, DP1s had a truck load of surprises for the DP2s. Practicing for a drama we prepared enacting our very own seniors, the selection of the tiaras and sashes for the prom king and queen, our engaging games and the great stand up comedy were just the tip of the iceberg. The lavish dinner and the tight hugs, the surprise at the end and the sad goodbyes made us even stronger! Even though the occasion was of all smiles, it did leave us with a heavy heart. We won’t be seeing our hardworking seniors every morning giving us a wide smile and making our DP journey easier. But we do know that it’s our turn to be the seniors they were to us. We hope to be able to fill their shoes and make them proud. Prom was a perfect night. All the best to our mentors and idols, the DP2s.
