A CALL TO SAVE OUR PAST

DRSIS celebrated ‘World Heritage Day’ on the 18th of April in a grand way! The Assembly was particularly eventful with musical and dance presentations by the students of X C who creatively put up posters of various heritage sites in India. The students also payed tribute to the Taj Mahal by enacting a short yet entertaining skit on how the monument’s heritage and historical value has much to do with Shah Jahan making it in the loving memory of his wife Noor Jahan.

The assembly through the speeches and the performances gave a clear message to the students present about the need to appreciate, preserve, maintain and protect our heritage sites in line with the UNESCO directives that mark the significance of this day.
