Four residential students from Grades IV and V had an eventful evening on Sunday. They explored how the Japanese art of Origami was different from Kirigami, and how Origami could help them create Finger-Puppets with which they could endlessly entertain themselves and their friends. These inventive story-telling props also double as toys and rings, as the boys discovered to their utter delight. Pranay, Thaman, Sai Vignesh and Shriyan illustrated and added their own touches to the puppets (including pirate patches and jagged teeth!).They even went on to make little origami boxes to store their puppets in! An evening well spent, indeed.
