Rethinking Borders..

A series of workshops are to be held for our residential students, during this academic year. The workshops will be largely based on modules on creative and critical thinking.

To start of, a Creative and Critical Thinking workshop for residential students of Grades VI & VII was conducted last week. The session began with a fun ice-breaker, in which students got to share humorous experiences they had lived through. A screening of the award-winning short film, ‘The Little Terrorist’ was followed by a lively discussion in which the students enthusiastically shared their interpretations of the film and connected it to the larger debate on borders. The idea of balancing the need for safety and security with openness and humanity resonated quite well with the students. The session ended with an energising round of ‘the wave of silliness’, which the students thoroughly enjoyed.
