Self Awareness

“My Beast & My Story” was a self awareness activity conducted as part of our innovative Life Skills Program (LSP). The students came up with very interesting depictions of their personality in the form of an animal, a plant or a thing. They drew their beast and explained its qualities. The analogy was an eye opener to the facilitators and the counselor about the personality of the students. It brought to light so many clarifications and realization of the character of the students.

One of the facilitators said “I never thought this simple activity can go to such deep psychological analysis into child psyche and bring about his/her perception of himself/herself. It also helped to know understanding, writing and comprehensive capacity of children.”
